FANTASY FOOTBALL TIME SETTINGS

Keepers:

  • This year we will be keeping 5 total players.

  • You can keep a player for a max of 3 years

  • You can not keep more than 3 at one position

  • You can sub 1 keeper for preseason injury, 2 with league vote

  • Keepers cost no draft picks

Rules:

  • Each year at the draft, we talk about new rules and vote on the installation of them. All new rules must be 100% owner yes vote. Owners can nominate rules to be struck down too, again by 100% vote.

Trade Rules:

  • You can trade draft picks (2 years out max, this year and next)

  • You can only trade your keeper spots (if you have paid for the following year already)

  • You can only trade keeper player rights (if you have paid for the following year already)

  • No trade deadline

  • No limit to the amount of trades

  • Uneven number player trades, IE,  3 players for 1 player is allowed

  • You can trade Free Agent Budget

  • You own your players from draft to draft

  • Trade veto is set to commish

  • You can run your team as you wish

  • Trade review period is 2 day

  • Trades that will not be allowed are

    • Boomerang (trading the same person within 2 weeks)

    • Firesale (trading core of the team, once eliminated)

    • Non Competing trades (ones that are obvious collision)

  • Issue with trades that affect the whole league can be handled by an Owner vote.

The two most common reasons for a veto? 1) They make one team too good. 2) You don’t think the trade is even. Neither of these is an appropriate reason for a veto. It is not your job to evaluate players on behalf of another team. It’s definitely not your job to use the veto as a weapon against a good team. Vetoes are there to prevent cheating. Period.

If you think a trade is uneven, ask the traders to post the reasons why a trade is beneficial to them.

Owner Vote:

If owners of the league feel that an owner is affecting the whole league, they first must privately contact the commissioner, explain the issue, and seek to find a resolve. If it can not be resolved privately then the protesting owner must post an explanation of why he would like to initiate a vote. This must list the reasons why the owner is affecting the whole league. Can only be Fantasy Football related. Skill level, Draft ability, Team affiliation, Sex, History can not be a factor. Each owner can post up comments, then text commissioner the vote. Vote must be unanimous to win.

Protected Players:

  • You can have 2 players protected total… so 2 FAs, or 1 FA & 1 IR or 2 IR

  • You can only protect players that are suspended, held out, injured, on exempt list

  • Just post in the Protected Players Post to use the FA side (IR spot is on roster)

  • Once a player no longer qualifies as a protected player you have 1 week to move to roster or drop

Captains:

Each week you’ll name one player as your team’s captain, and he’ll get 50% / 25% bonus points each week. In other words, if going into Week 5, you name Tom Brady as your captain, and he scores 22 Fantasy points, he’ll get a turbo-boost bonus of 11/5 points added on, scoring 33/28 points for your lineup! (You must post before captains games starts)

To do this post in the Captain Post (in message boards)

Rookie & Sophomore Spots:

Each week you must start 1 rookie and 1 sophomore, they can only be played in the W/R/T spots on your roster.
